NEWLANDS, Michael John

The family of Michael John Newlands is saddened to announce that he passed away September 26th after a brief illness, in Barbados his home for almost 40 years. Michael was a longtime professor in Manchester, Memorial University in the chemistry department and at the University of West Indies. He was an avid reader, gardener, and lover of classical music.
