PAYSON, Edgar Francis "Fast Eddie"

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Edgar Francis Payson. Edgar was born in Digby Neck, on September 9, 1949, and passed away peacefully on March 9, 2023 in Bethell House (Hospice) in Caledon, Ont., with daughter Kelly Ann by his side. Edgar was a son of the late Carleen and Ronald Payson (formerly of Digby Neck). He is survived by his wife, Suzan Payson; daughter, Kelly Ann (Wade) Rideout; grandchildren, Dylan and Devin; stepson, Robert Davis, and grandchild Maxim Davis. Edgar is also survived by his loving sister, Peggy Amon, and niece Lisa Amon. Predeceased by his sister, Mary Colacci; daughter, Shanna Marie Payson in infancy; and stepdaughter, Tracy Burch (Davis). Edgar was cremated in Mississauga, Ont., and his ashes were transported to his daughter Kelly Ann who resides in Nova Scotia. There will be a celebration of life for Edgar this summer in Digby Neck.
