Brill nets winner as Armada win Monctonian

Chris Brill scored in double overtime as the Basin Armada edged the CIH Voyageurs 5-4 to win the under-16 final at The Monctonian AAA Hockey Challenge in Moncton on Sunday.

Samuel Cowan added a pair of goals while Liam Conlon and Jack Thompson had singles for the Armada.

Lukas Reisen, with a pair, Justin Doak and Jordan May scored for the Voyageurs.

Brody Pare scored in overtime as the Fredericton Caps edged the Steele Subaru 3-2 in the under18 division.

Aiden and Owen O'donnell scored for Steele.

In the under-15 final, the Dieppe Flyers edged the Moncton Hawks 2-1.
