Police investigate armed robbery at Trinity Conception Square Mall

The RCMP in Harbour Grace is investigating an armed robbery at the Trinity Conception Square Mall in Carbonear on Friday, Jan. 21.

In a Jan. 24 news release, the RCMP said officers received a report that a man holding a weapon approached an employee of one of the businesses in the mall and demanded money shortly before 9:15 p.m.

Police said the man left the mall with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a heavier-set man, standing between five-foot-seven to fivefoot-10.
