Digby woman receives 27-month sentence on drug charges

A woman has been sentenced to more than two years in custody after pleading guilty to drug trafficking in Digby.

On Feb. 27, Tammy Denise Graham, 49, of Digby, plead guilty to two counts of Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and was sentenced to 27 months in custody.

In March 2022, Digby RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle which resulted in the arrest of a woman and the seizure of crack cocaine, cash and a cellular phone. The woman was charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and released on conditions to appear in court.

In early-February 2023, Digby RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Water Street in Digby, which resulted in the arrest of the same woman. RCMP officers seized crack cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia. Graham was again charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and was remanded into custody.
