Conditional discharge for assault

Nathan William Clark Gavel, 41, of Windsor, has been handed a conditional discharge for committing an assault.

Gavel changed his plea to guilty on March 11. The matter was adjourned to May 9 to allow time for a pre-sentence report to be prepared and for sentencing. Judge Ronda Van

Der Hoek handed Gavel a conditional discharge with three months of probation.

Gavel committed the offence in Windsor between May 1 and 15, 2020.
