Jim Henman and Friends performing at fundraiser

Concert in Upper Stewiacke at 7 p.m. on Nov. 26

UPPER STEWIACKE Founding member of April Wine Jim Henman will be performing with his band Friends, consisting of Paul Eisan (Spice, Fast Forward) and Dan Macdonald (The Corvetts, Tribute) at the Springside Community Centre Nov. 26.

Special guest Jeff Mosher will also be joining for this performance, primarily known as the lead vocalist and a saxophone player for the Halifax-based band The Mellowtones.

A portion of the proceeds from the concert will be going to the Springside Community Centre. The community centre was a former church,

having since being transformed by the Springside Community Centre Association in 2020. It is now used for community events and gatherings in Upper Stewiacke.

Tickets can be purchased via etransfer or by calling 902890-5839. They are priced at $25 each. Springside Community Centre asks that those interested send the etransfer to springsidenovascotia@gmail. com, and that they include their name, email, address, phone number and the town that they live in.
