Five Islands is one of Nova Scotia's most iconic destinations. The Lighthouse Park has great access to the beach overlooking the islands and the lighthouse. The views change with the tides so check the tide times before heading out, depending on if you would like a walk on the beach at low tide or see how deep the water gets at high tide. Feel the sand beneath your feet and breathe in the fresh, salty air. It is a great family destination as there is a unique ship playground for the kids, a large picnic shelter, and a one-km walking path with benches to enjoy the view.
