TRURO - Contrary to initial reports, children will not be able to pass along their letters for Santa Claus to Canada Post workers during Truro's upcoming holiday parade. That traditional hand over had been the original plan for this year’s parade on Nov. 28, but COVID protocols means the letters cannot be acceptd by postal workers. Instead, children are encouraged to mail their letters directly through their Canada Post carrier or post office. No postage is needed but a return address is encouraged so a return letter can be sent from the North Pole. Truro's Santa Claus parade will start from the Colchester Legion Stadium on Lorne Street at 4 p.m., and make a loop through the downtown before returning to the stadium.
