ANYONE WANT A HOTDOG?

Outside the Rath Eastlink Community Centre on July 16, free hotdogs and sausages were offered as thanks to healthcare workers and RECC members, and some food also went to the Truro Homeless Outreach Society. There is a drive-thru COVID vaccine clinic running in the RECC'S lower parking lot and across the street is the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. A donation box gathered funds for CEHCC'S "We Care About Cancer" fund helping people undergoing treatment and the event was sponsored by Vintage Stove & Fireplace Ltd., Sofi's Homestyle BAR-B-Q Sauce and Truro Atlantic Superstore. The pool was also closed on Friday for filming of CBC'S Diggstown.
