Man facing charges for exposing himself on public beach

A 77-year-old man will appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court to face charges for publicly masturbating at a beach near Bunker’s Island

Road.

Yarmouth Rural RCMP said in a July 14 release they received a report around 7:10 p.m. on July 7 of a man exposing himself while masturbating at the beach, which is accessible by the public.

Police said they located the man a short time later and arrested him without incident.

Paul Glendon Harding,

77, has been charged with Committing an Indecent Act under Section 173(1) of the

Criminal Code.

He was released on conditions and will appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court on Aug. 31.
