CORNER BROOK, N.L. — No one was hurt after the repair shop at the Department of Transportation and Works’ Wild Cove depot collapsed on the afternoon of March 16. Brian Scott, director of communications for the department, told The Western Star staff had been advised last week not to use the building, pending a structural assessment of the roof. No one was in or near the building at the time of the collapse but a snow clearing flyer was damaged. Staff are assessing the building to determine the timeline for repairs.
