BAKER, Thomas

February 28, 1944 – June 4, 2023. Born to Vincent and Julia (Kelly) Baker of Marystown, Tom lived his whole life surrounded by family and friends. Moving forward with a lifetime of memories and love in our hearts are his wife of almost 53 years, Carol (Doody); children, Jennifer (Neville) Lockyer, Anne Marie (Court Milley), and Stephen (Krista); grandchildren, Marcus and Ryan Lockyer, and Emma Jane Baker; siblings, Kevin (Bridget), Jim (Theresa), Alice (Ray) Murphy, Patricia (John) Norman, Vince (Dot), and Judy (Bob) Drake; inlaws, Orion Baker, Marilyn Donahue, Eva Sweetman, Barbara (Alan) Masters, Glen (Annette) Doody, and Rita (Tom) Mccarthy; extended family, Glenn and Linda Tobin, Susan and Dwayne Bursey, Andrew Tobin, Lloyd, Elizabeth, Ryan and Jessica Brockerville; plus a large circle of family and friends. Tom has been reunited in heaven with his parents; brothers, Leonard and Edward; sisters, Bride Mitchell and Sister Mary, RSM, and other family and friends who passed before him. Tom had infinite love to give and was happiest when gathered with family and friends. His grandchildren brought him great pride and joy. He focused much of his life on community service having served on numerous boards and committees. His greatest volunteer achievements were Community Pride projects and the Kinsmen Manor for Seniors.
