GOSS, Laura (Wilson)

Feb. 8, 1930 - May 11, 2023

On May 11, 2023, with the sun shining into her room and surrounded by the love of her family, our Mom, Mother-in-law and Nanny Laura passed peacefully away. We remember her for her deep love of her family, her grace, wit and advice. We will miss her dearly.

Thank-you seems so inadequate, but we thank all of our friends and family for their support through your visits with Mom over the past eighteen months. We thank and acknowledge the healthcare professionals at The Residence at Littledale. Your kindness and support shown to Mom and all of us will always be remembered.

Thank-you to those who called, delivered food to the funeral home and to our homes, sent us e-mails and text messages, flowers, mass cards, donations for charities, and who shared stories of how Laura touched their lives. Thank-you to our friends and family - those from here, those who travelled to be with us and those who attended virtually through social media. Your friendship and love has been a great source of comfort.

Thank-you to Fr. John Sullivan, the Very Reverend Fr. Puddister and the Bereavement Team at Divine Mercy Church for supporting the family for the funeral and at the gravesite. Special thanks to Susan Quinn, Libby Brennan, Peter Halley, Amy Small and Mary Anne Murphy for beautiful music at the funeral. Thank-you to the caring professionals at Caul’s Funeral Home.

Thank-you to all of those who contributed to and assisted at the celebration we held after the funeral. We are sure that Mom would have been so pleased to have so many gather to remember her. We have lost the matriarch of our family but her spirit will live on in our memories.

Son: Glenn (Peg, Ben and Krysta) Daughters : Lynn (Gerry Allison and Mike, Zachary and Julie) Geralyn (Howie, Erika and Rene, Wiley, Casper; Samantha and Chris, Simon)
