April 5, 1929 – May 31, 2023. Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on May 31, 2023, Virginia Mary Dillon, retired teacher of Mobile, at age 94. Predeceased by her parents, Francis and Regina (Carey) Dillon; and her brothers, Stephen and Michael Dillon. Virginia is survived by several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and greatnieces; special nephew, Robert Dillon; sister-in-law, Mary Dillon. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Monday, June 5th from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 6th at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Witless Bay. Burial in the R.C. Cemetery, Mobile. The Dillon family greatly appreciates the care given to Virginia by the staff of St. Patrick's Mercy Home over the seven and a half years of her stay at the home.
