Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on May 28, 2023, John Roche, age 74 years. Leaving to mourn, his loving and dedicated wife of 53 years, Mary (Maddox); daughter, Michelle Cassels (Alastair); sons, Shawn (Lori), Darrell (Kerri-lynn), Damien (Donna), Jason and Jamie. Fondly remembered as Poppy to ten amazing grandchildren including Dominique, Cassandra, Nikolas, Sophie, Gabrielle, Jack, Noah, Drew, Harriet and Nevaeh. Predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret;brothers, Frank and Ron (Barb); sister, Donna. Also leaving to mourn, brother, Bill (Barb); and sister, Mary. Also leaving to mourn several wonderful brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews in addition to several wonderful friends. John was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a well-known member of the local business community. Cremation has already taken place and visitation will be at Caul's Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to take place from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Thursday, June 1st at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in John's memory to Easter Seals.
