BUS BREAKDOWN

One student was taken to hospital after a school bus lost its rear axle in Mount Pearl Monday afternoon, March 20. A second student was also injured, but was not taken to hospital. The bus was approaching a stop sign on Munden Drive when the incident happened. The rear axle let go on one side, leaving it wedged under the bus, which was tilted to one side. None of the injuries were considered serious. The RNC is investigating.
