HARTERY, Vince

It is with great sadness that the family of Vince Hartery, age 42, announce his passing on January 24, 2023. Vince was a beloved son, brother, father and friend, leaving behind his heart broken Mom and Dad, Kenneth and Barbara Hartery; his sisters, Kendra (Ed and Jack), and Kim (Cory, Izzy, Becky, Katie, Amy); his partner, Maggie and boys Alexander and Nicholas and his best buddy and the light of his life, his son, Jayden and Mom Nicole as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. Vince had a very large circle of friends and left a lasting impression on anyone who was lucky to meet him. His big smile and hearty laugh will never be forgotten. Vince was a simple man and was in his happy place by a pond with his rod and his buddy Bobby, even if the trout were not biting. He was a known jokester who loved a good laugh and a cold Coors. Visitation will occur at Fahey's Funeral home in Trepassey on Monday, January 30th from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Church in Trepassey on January 31st at 1 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to mental health. It would be appreciated.
