Passed peacefully away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Pleasant View Towers, age 86 years. Predeceased by his wife, Patricia of forty years; parents, Dennis and Mary Furlong; siblings, Bernice and John Fallon, Nicholas and Daisy Furlong, Beth and Jack Allan, Theresa and Gerry White, Dennis and Ann Furlong, Joan and Walter Gregoire and Helen Furlong. Leaving to celebrate his life his caregivers Wayne and Wanda Carter, Joyce and Jerome Dillion, Blair and Andrea Hong, Tom Devine and Henry Power and family; life long friends John Wadden, The Hongs and the Matthews families. Also leaving to celebrate his life other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A special thank you to wonderful staff at Pleasant View Towers 1 South West – your kindness was greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 31, from St. Teresa’s Church at 11 a.m. with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A celebration of Tom’s life will take place following the burial from Bally Haly Country Club, 100 Logy Bay Rd. from 1:30-5:30 p.m., all are welcome. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the School Lunch Program.
