Police seize three kilograms of cocaine, arrest man
Police seized three kilograms of cocaine and arrested a Conception Bay South man after a recent investigation into drugs entering the province.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary launched an investigation into the importation of drugs into the province earlier this month.
On Thursday, Jan. 26, police and Canada Post executed multiple search warrants, resulting in the seizure of three kilograms of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia.
The RNC said the estimated street value of the drugs seized is more than $150,000.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old man.
He was later released pending further investigation.
