GARDINER, Dr. J. Paul

April 28, 1948 – October 1, 2022. Passed away with his family at his side, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, October 1, 2022, Paul Gardiner, at the age of 74. Predeceased by his parents James and Gertrude Gardiner. Left with a lifetime of love, support and example of honour and humility, are his children Mark, Amanda (Ryan Armstrong), Stefanie (Adam Groves) and their mother Donna; grandchildren Jacob, Amelia, Gwyn Armstrong, Alex, and Sara Groves, his loving and devoted partner

Susan Pye (Shane and Anna), sister Brenda (John Gardner) and nieces Jane and Clare (Kalo). The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and thanks to the doctors and nurses of St. Clare’s 6 East, Paul’s second home for 35 years, as well to Drs. Joy Mccarthy, Jonathan Greenland, Scott Moffatt, and M.J. Thava, and nurse practitioner and dear friend Cynthia Kettle, as well as so many others who provided compassionate care and support. The family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral

Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, October 4 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral service will

be held from St. Teresa’s Parish on Wednesday, October 5 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s
