Lineup announced for 37th annual George Street Festival

The George Street Association has announced the lineup for the 37th annual George Street Festival.

This year’s festival will run from July 28 to Aug. 3, to align with the province’s Come Home Year celebrations. Attendees can expect to see Newfoundland and Labrador talent and a mix of well-known Canadian and international acts.

The Tea Party and Sam Roberts Band with Women of Rock will perform on July 29. There will also be a family-friendly matinee and kitchen party with The Masterless Men, The Navigators, Celtic Connection and more on July 30.

Alan Doyle will be performing with Fortunate Ones on July 31, along with special guest Kellie Loder, who recently competed on “Canada’s Got Talent.”

The Arkells will take to the stage on Aug. 1 with Snotty Nose Rez Kids. Shanneyganock and Signal Hill with Rum Ragged will perform on Aug. 2. Canadian country star Brett Kissel will perform alongside the talented Meghan Patrick, accompanied by Justin Fancy, on Aug. 3.

Organizers said the lineup for July 28 will soon be revealed.
