B$OEN, Kenneth (Ken) Nor+an

Kenneth Norman Brown (Ken), 53, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully on October 8th, 2021, at Toronto Western Hospital with his family by his side. Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland on April 25, 1968, Ken spent his early years in St. John’s before moving to Toronto as a young man. He graduated from Gonzaga High School and studied at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Ken worked for Royal Bank of Canada for over 24 years where he enjoyed his work and developed strong relationships with his colleagues and clients. Ken loved to cook and was a friend to all animals. Ken was loved by all who knew him, he was always ready to help and support those he cared about and share a joke or two. He loved his family and friends fiercely. He will be missed beyond words. Ken is survived by his parents, Norm and Mary Brown of St. John’s, Newfoundland, brothers Robert (Susana) of Burlington, Ontario, and John (Jennifer), also of Burlington, Ontario, stepchild Taylor Clarke, nieces and nephews, lifelong friend Christopher Moore, along with many close friends and extended family. He will be forever in our hearts. In lieu of a formal service, a celebration of life reception was held with family and close friends. The family wishes to thank the ICU team at Toronto Western Hospital who cared for Ken in his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local Humane Society or another charity of your choice in Ken’s honour would be appreciated.
