SCARVES OF THE SEASON

With coloured scarves to represent the changing colours of fall, Grade 3 students of Terrilynn Pickett’s music class at St. Peter’s Primary in Mount Pearl, perform their musical song enrtirled “Autumn Leaves Are Falling Down,” as part of Canada’s 11th. National Tree Day held on the grounds of the Southlands Community Centre on Wednesday morning. Afterwards, the students assisted in the planting of a red maple tree, one of 17 various tree species native to Newfoundland, at Teakwood Park in Southlands..
