‘East Coast Counting’

“Let’s count some of the reasons why this part of the world (the Atlantic Provinces, AKA the Atlantic Bubble) is so special.”

That could be one lighthouse, or five kayaks, or eight puppies, or 10 toes.

In “East Coast Counting,” Dawn Baker likes reinforcing her work by explaining the flora and fauna she depicts, and some brief end notes add context to each reference.

(She also includes a map of and the official flower and flag representing each province, too.) It’s all accompanied by her gentle, naturalistic, appealing artwork.
