CINDY SAYS: Where will you find the best weather this weekend? Labrador – with sunshine and highs in the low to mid-twenties; it could be as warm as 30 degrees in Goose Bay on Sunday! The weekend weather won’t be terrible on the island however it is a little unsettled today. A weak system is being held overhead by a blocking high out over the Atlantic. Showers will gradually end from west to east as the system slowly drifts offshore tonight. Plan on being outside on Sunday; we’re in for sunshine with highs in the mid-twenties. The last week of the month will get off to a lovely start, but rain will move into western regions overnight into Tuesday. The air mass will remain unsettled most of the week with scattered showers but no significant rain until Friday. The end-of-week system could bring 40 mm of rain and wind gusts to 50 to 60 km/h.
