QUARTERLY CUPCAKES

Celebrating its 120th birthday, the Newfoundland Quarterly magazine held a celebration July 23 at the Johnny Ruth clothing and accessories retail outlet on Water Street in downtown St. John’s. One hundred and twenty birthday cupcakes were up for grabs, and there were performances by the Flower Hill Trio, Andy Jones and Mary-lynn Bernard, and Ruth Lawrence.
