PREPARING ON THE POND

With hopes that the Royal St. John’s Regatta will go ahead this August, crews took to Quidi Vidi Lake this week for practice spins. Among them on Friday afternoon was the PF Collins senior ladies’ crew. Members of the crew are Melissa Snow (spare coxswain), stroke Sherri Roche, No. 5 oar Jill Hampton, No. 4 oar Elizabeth Murphy, No. 3 oar Sharlene Goobie, No. 2 oar Tara Bolt and No. 1 oar Donna Billard. The team’s coxswain is Craig Button, who during Friday’s spin filled in for a crew member who couldn’t attend.
