NNEC boys basketball now 7-2

The North Nova Education Centre varsity boys basketball team now has a seven win, two loss record.

On Nov. 17 in their first league game, NNEC beat NRHS 123-54.

Hudson MacGregor had 22 points and Nathan Dayman had 21 points.

Over the weekend the 9th annual Anse MacDonald Tournament was held in New Glasgow with NNEC finishing fourth.

On Friday night they defeated Lockview (Fall River) 91-81. The player of the game was Hudon MacGregor with 32 points.

Saturday morning they narrowly lost to Millwood (Middle Sackville) 103-97. Nathan Dayman was the player of the game with 37 points and 22 rebounds.

For the final game, NNEC was injury plagued, and was soundly defeated by CP. Allen (Bedford) 110-75. The player of the game was Dakota Fitt with 25 points.

The boys continue league play Wednesday night at CEC, then travel to Sydney over the weekend for the Cape Breton Classic.
