Two facing drug charges after police home search

NEW GLASGOW, N.S. - A woman and a man are facing drug charges after police searched a New Glasgow home on Nov. 17.
In a Nov. 18 release, New Glasgow Regional Police said officers with the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit found a quantity of cocaine, cash and digital scales during a home search around 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 17.
Police arrested a 38-yearold woman and a 36-year-old man. The pair have been charged with possession of cocaine for trafficking.
New Glasgow Regional Police also assisted during the raid.
The investigation is ongoing.
