Duff vs. Town of New Glasgow board of inquiry set for Stellarton

An independent human rights board of inquiry, to determine whether discrimination took place, regarding the matter of Kaitlin Duff vs. the Town of New Glasgow will take place Oct. 25, in Stellarton.
Duff alleges that the Town of New Glasgow discriminated against her based on gender and her ethnic, national or aboriginal origin while she was employed.
The hearing will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express. The board chair for the inquiry is J. Walter Thompson, who is independent of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission.
Seating for the public may be limited due to COVID regulations.
Proof of vaccination will be required.
