MacLEAN (Chappelle) (Curley), Margaret Catherine

1926 – 2022. Our family is very saddened to announce the passing of Margaret Catherine MacLean, age 96, of Winsloe, Charlottetown at the Whisperwood Villa on December 25, 2022. Margaret was the daughter of the late Joseph & Florence (Keenan) Curley. She was predeceased by her husband George Francis Chappelle and her sister Caroline Curley. She is survived by her daughter, Joanna English (Gary); grandchildren, Trevor English (Tricia), Derek English and Amber English (Jason); great-grandchild, Ginevieve English. Later in life, fortunate to marry again, predeceased by her husband Arthur Melvin MacLean, stepsons, John MacLean and Sterling MacLean (Marie). She is survived by her stepchildren, Barbara Hennessey (Robert), Edith Roberts (Lloyd), Harry MacLean (Melody), Gordon MacLean, Everett MacLean (Debbie), Lorne MacLean, Douglas MacLean (Marlene) and Terry MacLean (Andrea); many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Thursday, June 8 from 4-7 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday, June 9 with funeral mass from St. Pius X Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
