Holland College increasing tuition and residence fees

ATLANTIC BRIEFS DESK sw-briefs@saltwire.com

Holland College is increasing tuition costs and residence fees for students in the fall 2023 school year.

The college announced a two per cent increase in tuition, roughly $9 per course, and a three per cent increase to residence fees beginning in September.

The school said the hikes are part of an effort to increase revenue while reducing costs to become more financially stable.

“We realize that many of our students are facing financial challenges due to inflation and increased costs of living, and we have tried our utmost to limit increases to ensure that tuitions remain as affordable as possible,” said Holland College president Sandy MacDonald.

Tuition rates for each program have been adjusted on the school website at www.hollandcollege.com to reflect the increases.
