UPEI adds more electric vehicle charging stations

The University of Prince Edward Island has added 20 more electric vehicle chargers across its campus in Charlottetown.

Two each have been installed in campus locations, including Alumni Hall, the parking lot of the sustainable design engineering faculty, parking lot C and parking lot G.

Four each have been added at the Blanchard Hall residence parking lot, teh Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall parking lot and the W.A. Murphy Student Centre visitor parking lot.

The new chargers in Charlottetown are in addition to four chargers at the Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation in St. Peters Bay.

The units are different from one another and carry different charging capabilities. Certain rules, procedures and rates apply to each depending on where they are located.
