Investigation into recent theft

MOONEY’S POND, P.E.I. – Police are turning to the public for help investigating a recent theft in Mooney’s Pond.

Kings District RCMP said the theft took place sometime between the evening of May 20 and the morning of May 23.

A metal fire pit, garden tools, a wheelbarrow, an axe, two hammers, two crowbars, a large pry bar, a post pounder and a maul were stolen.

Police ask anyone with information about the crime to call the RCMP at 902-8389300 or tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
