MacDOUGALL, Leonard J.

The funeral for Leonard J. MacDougall was held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home to St. Bonaventure’s Church, Tracadie Cross, where the Funeral Mass was celebrated by Father Gerard Chaisson who also delivered the homily. The funeral pall was placed on Leonard’s casket by Pauline McMaster, Denise MacDougall, Dana Hancock and Megan Parkman. The readings were proclaimed by Darlene and Emma MacDougall. The prayers of intercession were offered by Arvilla Roach. Music for the Funeral Mass was rendered by Michael Pendergast. He sang the entrance hymn, Just A Closer Walk With Thee, the offertory, Go rest High, the communion hymn, The Summons and the recessional, Lord of the Dance. The meditation pieces, The Gift and Ramblin Boy were performed by Lester MacPherson. The pallbearers were Michael MacDougall, Dale MacDougall, Trevor MacDougall, Darren Mitchell, Drew MacDougall and Tegan Misener. The interment took place in St. Bonaventure’s Parish Cemetery.
