Cornwall makes zoning decisions

CORNWALL, P.E.I. — Two lots were rezoned at Cornwall town council’s monthly meeting Jan. 25.

A waterfront lot at 522 Capital Dr. was rezoned from residential to commercial. The resolution passed the second reading and was formally adopted by council.

Additionally, a rezoning request for a lot on the Cornwall Road was approved 4-1 by council. The lot was planned to be part of a business park, but the change means it is now zoned rural residential.
