Petroleum prices increase in P.E.I
Gas, diesel prices increase
Prices of furnace oil and diesel rose for the second time in two days in an unscheduled adjustment from the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (IRAC). As of 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 28, IRAC said the prices of diesel and furnace oil went up 7.0 cents per litre (cpl). The maximum price of furnace oil is now 179.6 cpl while diesel ranges from 234.7 to 235.9 cpl. There was no change to gas prices. IRAC’s next scheduled adjustment is Feb. 3.
