Saturday, Dec. 3 marks the 30th International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Local organizing committee, Disability CARE P.E.I. (Celebration, Awareness, Representation, Education) is made up of representatives from P.E.I. CP Association, UPEI Accessibility Services, UPEI Student Union, Black Cultural Society of P.E.I., Health P.E.I., Spinal Cord Injury P.E.I. and PEERS Alliance. Events include a flag raising at Charlottetown City Hall on Dec. 2 at 9 a.m., and a panel discussion at the Fox and Crow (UPEI) on Dec. 3 at 2 p.m.
