ATLANTIC BRIEFS DESK SW-BRIEFS@SALTWIRE.COM
The Fabulously Rich, a Tragically Hip tribute band, will be playing at the Trailside Music Hall in Charlottetown on July 8-9.
The band formed in 2016, around the time that Gord Downie had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Since then, it has turned into one of Atlantic Canada’s most popular live shows.
The band originally got together to reunite with old friends who began their music careers in a high school rock ’n’ roll band known as Adam's Eve and honour one of the bands they all loved and most frequently covered in their sets.
"Just an amazing tribute to one of the most beloved Canadian bands of all time," s ays Trailside owner Pat Deighan.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the music begins at 8 p.m.
