Fiddler’s Sons will be performing at the ceilidh in the Katherine Hughes Memorial Hall in the Irish Cultural Centre in Charlottetown on July 8.

The award-winning band, featuring Eddy Quinn, John B. Webster and Cynthia Macleod, will be playing its brand of grassroots music that has delighted audiences at the venue, which is located at 582 North River Rd., for the past 22 years.

Tickets will be sold at the door as first-come, first-serve, with no reserved tickets. For more information, call 902314-8840.

In 2017, Fiddler’s Sons marked the anniversary of 20 years in the music business with the release of a compilation album of the band’s most requested songs, Fiddler’s Sons: The Best of Twenty Years. It contains 22 selections written and performed by the band members that explore Prince Edward Island life and its people.

Quinn, the group’s lead vocalist, has released two solo albums that have received four Music P.E.I. Awards.

Webster, the band’s lead guitarist and backup vocalist, has done quite a lot of writing on the five CDS Fiddlers' Sons have released.

An award-winning fiddler, Macleod has carved herself a distinct style of fiddling that resembles her local and ancestral Scottish highland roots. She has spent more than 20 years on stage in P.E.I., Cuba, Japan and across North America and has recorded several albums.
