• Wayne Mackinnon, P.E.I. historian and author, will give a presentation July 11, 7 p.m., at the Bedeque Area Historical Museum (950 Callbeck St., Central Bedeque) on the Mizuno family, a Japanese Canadian family who, after being interned during the Second World War, lived in Central Bedeque from 1946 to 1952, and of Louise Callbeck who brought them to Bedeque. There will be a chance to see the museum’s exhibit on the family and Callbeck’s collection of Japanese items.
