AT A GLANCE

Following is the review process that gets underway in Charlottetown on July 7:

• Donna Waddell, interim chief administrative officer, has brought in auditor Michelle Burge and former P.E.I. attorney general Colin Younker to help conduct an organizational review of the city’s operations.

• The review will look at each of the accusations levelled in 2019 by Scott Messervey, shortly after he was fired in 2019 as the city’s deputy chief administrative officer.

• An independent third party will be brought in.

• Waddell expects the review to take no more than a few months overall.

• An internal governance review will be conducted that will see the city examine things like its corporate structure.
