Registration opens for P.E.I. 55+ Games

The P.E.I. 55+ Games are coming back for the first time since 2020, just in time for the organization’s 25th anniversary.

The 2022 P.E.I. 55+ Summer Games will be hosted by the Town of Kensington, Sept. 10- 17.

The 55+ Games are open to anyone who has a P.E.I. residence and is 55 years and older by Dec. 31 of this year. Registration is now open and will close Aug. 31.

Registration can be completed online at pei55plusgamessociety.ca or by picking up a registration form at the provincial office, 40 Enman Cres., Charlottetown, or at the host office at the Credit Union Centre in Kensington, 25 Garden Dr.

Registration forms can also be mailed or emailed out by request.

Events will include cribbage, Scrabble, crokinole, pickleball, golf, swimming, running, auction 45 and many more. Be sure to check out the 55+ Games website for the full list of events and the schedule.

There will also be social events including a barbecue and a celebration luncheon.

“We are excited to welcome everyone back to the Games as well welcome, Boyles Optical, our title sponsor for the Games,” said Susan Dalziel, 55+ Games Society president. “This is our 25th year as an organization, the Games couldn’t have come back at a better time.”
