GALLANT, Lawson Peter John

The death occurred peacefully with family by his side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Sunday, January 23, 2022, of Lawson, Gallant, beloved husband of Gail Gallant (nee Gallant) in his 85th year. Lawson was the loving father of Maryrose, John Edmond (deceased in infancy), Jacinta, Lynn (Jeremy MacNevin), Peter (Odessa) and Olivia Colborne (Max); and grandchildren, Mason, Mya, Kaeleigh and Kaegan. He is also survived by his siblings, Mark Gallant (Margaret), Fausinta Simoneau (Paul, deceased), Luetta Doiron (Greg, deceased), Pauline Walsh (Emeric), Emmy Gagnon (Jim), Rose Mary MacDonald (Bliss); and numerous brothers and sistersin-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Lawson was predeceased by his parents, John Joseph “Jack” and Grace Gallant; parents–in-law, Edmond and Alvina Gallant; brother, Everett; brothers-inlaw, Emmett and Theodore; sisters-in-law, Audrey and Hazel; and nephew, David. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow. Due to health restrictions there will be no visitation or funeral. Interment later in St.
