Police investigate armed robbery at mall

CARBONEAR, N.L. – Harbour Grace RCMP is investigating an armed robbery at the Trinity Conception Square Mall in Carbonear on Jan. 21.

In a Jan. 24 release, RCMP said officers received the report that a man holding a weapon approached an employee of one of the businesses in the mall, demanding money shortly before 9:15 p.m.

Police said the man left the mall with an undisclosed amount of cash.
