Western Caps remain at No. 1 in CJHL Top 20 rankings

CALGARY, Alta. – Now into their second month atop the table, the Brooks Bandits (AJHL) are once again slotted No. 1 overall in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings, announced Monday.

Having gone 26-1-1-0 to start the season, Brooks has the top winning percentage in the CJHL to date at .946 and are starting to put some distance, points-wise, between themselves and the other elite clubs in the 16-team Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Holding firm at No. 2 in the weekly listings, which are provided by an independent scouting service, are the Maritime Junior Hockey League’s Summerside Western Capitals.

The 2022 Fred Page Cup Eastern Canadian Jr. A Championship hosts sport an 18-20-1 mark on the year.

Moving up a notch to No. 3 nationally are the Panthères de St-Jérôme (LHJAAAQ).

They are 20-3-0-1 in the 12-team Jr. A loop in Quebec and are a steadfast 9-1 in their previous 10 outings.
