POLICE CHECKS

The following information also came out at the protective and emergency services committee meeting:

• Charlottetown Police Services will be working with other police agencies on joint enforcement road checks in December.

• Charlottetown’s bylaw officer has been dealing with a lot of complaints involving garbage collection.

• Police have been conducting enforcement in the parking lots at Charlottetown Rural and Colonel Gray high schools from reports of drivers doing “burnouts’’ and leaving garbage and litter. Police are also closely monitoring traffic speeds at Queen Charlotte Intermediate School.
