P.E.I. tackle leagues resume play this weekend

Games scheduled for Cornwall and Rollo Bay

The Papa John’s P.E.I. Bantam and Varsity Tackle Football Leagues will resume play this weekend.

Last weekend’s games were postponed due to the COVID-19 situation in the Charlottetown area.

The Cornwall Timberwolves and Charlottetown Privateers will meet at the Terry Fox Sports Complex in Cornwall on Sept. 24. The bantam contest will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 8 p.m.

Action continues in Rollo Bay on Sept. 26 as the Kings County Steelers host the Summerside Spartans in a bantam game at 1 p.m. The Souris Wildcats will host the Summerside Clippers in a varsity match at 3 p.m.
