LOOKING BACK
Here are some of Ava Boutilier’s highlights from the 2020-21 hockey season with the University of New Hampshire (UNH) Wildcats:
• Named a Krampade AllAmerican Scholar by the American Hockey Coaches Association by attaining at least a 3.60 GPA for each semester.
• Earned distinguished scholar status by earning a spot on the all-academic team all four seasons of varsity play in Hockey East.
• Received the Karyn L. Bye Most Valuable Player Award from the UNH Wildcats women’s hockey team.
• Boutilier started all 20 games in which she played, which included the team’s last 17 of the season.
• Did you know? Boutilier ranked fifth in the nation in saves (532) and sixth in minutes played (1,145:12).
• Beat me if you can: Boutilier was the first UNH goalie in more than a decade to record three consecutive shutouts. Her shutout streak totalled 183 minutes and 44 seconds.
